Import customs declaration and import process for hazardous chemicals:

  1. Collect cargo information

The customer needs to provide detailed information on the goods to our company in advance (MSDS in both Chinese and English, ingredient list, functional purposes)

  2. Our company reviews the materials

After receiving the detailed information provided by the customer, our company categorizes the HS CODE, determines the UN code, tax rate, and regulatory conditions to provide to the customer.

  3. Overseas shipments

The foreign shipper shall choose a reasonable transportation method to ship the goods to the domestic port based on the actual situation of the goods.

  4. Import customs declaration and clearance of hazardous chemicals

Our company prepares declaration materials in advance based on the goods information, packing list, invoice, contract and other documents provided by the customer. After the goods arrive at the port, the import declaration process is as follows: document exchange - inspection - customs declaration - customs tax verification - tax payment on the tax invoice - customs release and inspection of the goods - port handling and pick-up - delivery.

Precautions for import customs declaration of hazardous chemicals:

  1. Many chemicals are classified as dangerous goods, and the above operation process is only applicable to ordinary chemicals. Therefore, after receiving customer goods information, it is necessary to conduct a detailed review to determine whether they are classified as dangerous goods.

  2. Pay attention to whether the packaging of the goods is made of wood. If it is made of wood, it is necessary to determine whether there is a fumigation mark.

  3. Remind customers that chemical products must be properly packaged during transportation to avoid leakage.

  4. Additionally, it should be noted that some chemical products from certain origins are recognized by the country as anti-dumping products. Therefore, for goods involving such products, customers must provide a certificate of origin and determine in advance whether they belong to anti-dumping goods.
